Matt Ufford had threatened to take action against the photographer for failing to removal of the picture. But the story was already widely circulated and had attracted a lot of interest. The family of Alyce celebrated her father's 92nd birth anniversary three years prior. Alyce took to social media to share an amazing photo of her daughter and recognize the contributions his father had made to her father's work in the U.S. Army. The daughter of her father, who is more enthused about education than her father and won the national merit award at the University of Michigan in 2020, also shows more interest in school.
