Shay Mitchell

Shay Mitchell (born Shay Mitchell) is a Canadian model, actor and entrepreneur. She is best known for her role as Emily Fields in the Freeform show Pretty Little Liars. Shay Lo became a popular character in the eyes of Jennifer Lopez Mitchell fans. As a young girl, her interest in performance art increased. Her parents told her they would love to make a living in it. After achieving great results with modeling and dancing, she wanted to try her hand at acting, and started acting lessons in Toronto. Mitchell's breakthrough came when she was able to land several commercials and guest spots in television shows, Mitchell was cast for the role Emily Fields. Her performance was well-received by her acting skills and also by the audience. Her next step was to be a star on the big screen through films such as Dreamland, Mother's Day and The Possession of Hannah Grace. The Psychological thriller You, in which she played the lead role, gained her greater recognition. Shay Mitchell's writing talents aren't limited to acting. With Michaela Blney, she co-wrote the adult-oriented book Bliss.
