Dua Lipa (born in London) is an English artist and singer. She was born on 22 August 1995 in London United Kingdom. After working as a fashion model, she decided to join Warner Bros Records and release her debut album titled "Dua Lipa" in 2017. The album reached the third position on the U.K. Chart for Albums. There were eight songs released and included Be the Only I.D.G.A.F. and New Rules (UK number one). It also rose at the number 6 spot within the United States. Lipa is the recipient of Brit Awards 2018 for two categories: British Female Artist and British Breakthrough Act, and British. Dua Lipa was born London on August 22 1995. She is the daughter of Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. She is of Bosnian descent through her mother's grandmother. She is a sister to Rina Lipa and a younger brother named Gjin. The father of Lipa, who was a guitar player and singer in the Kosovan band Oda was a major influence on her music.
