Coleman was born in Lancashire, and born in Blackpool. Coleman was head of the class at Arnold School, Blackpool and had straight A's at her A level. As she discussed her Emmerdale character Coleman expressed regret over having not attended a university. Coleman participated in a club known as In Yer Space at her school. Coleman received a nomination for Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat revealed at a Doctor Who Press Conference on March 21st, 2012 that Coleman was going to play Matt Smith as the Doctor's Companion following the departure of Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and others have left the series. Moffat claimed that he selected Coleman for the role of companion because she could work best with Smith. In addition, Moffat noted that she was more talkative than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her work in the industry since 1987, and has been part of many TV and film projects. She is however, more popular for her television projects rather instead of films. Eva has appeared in a number of television parts, however Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children' and Detective Natalia Boa Vistas of CSI Miami have stood out. In the latter, she even received two 'Daytime Emmy' nominations and allowed her to explore her creativity in music. Eva is, along with acting, is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and business owner. She has been married three times with a daughter by her second partner.
