Lis Wiehl is an American writer and legal analyst who used to be a Fox News analyst.
She was previously an associate professor of law at Law School at the University of Washington Law School. In addition, she has made legal commentaries on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual, and National Public Radio. She appears weekly presenter on The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File w/ Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs Today. The Imus Breakfast Shows. The Legal Lis podcast and radio show.
Wiehl, who was born and raised in Yakima within Washington State, was a graduate of Yakima at West Valley High School. She is a graduate of a Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) in addition to the JD degree at Harvard Law School.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor in the US Attorney's office. She worked as an NPR legal correspondent. She served as the principal investigating counsel to the Democrats from the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. She was a law professor as a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle where she managed the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 until 2001. Wiehl served as a Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 until 2017.
