Ellie Goulding, a British musician and singer who gained fame in the year 2010 when her smash songs Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed received a lot of attention from the media. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is at the forefront, like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of contemporary mainstream music and of independent, arty pop. Her soprano and her knack for writing emotionally honest songs are what make her stand out. Polydor Records offered her a deal as major label. The singer began to work on her preparations for her debut. Ellie Ellie Ellie Ellie Ellie
